Erik Edvardsson, biologist and nature photographer.

I was born in 1988 and live in Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden.

I've been interested in the natural world as long as I can remember, and started bird watching in early years. But since I bought my first camera in 2006, photography has been my main interest. I´ve made a few trips to the polar regions but most of my photos are taken in Sweden and Norway.

I enjoy all the fields within nature photography and like to photograph wildlife as well as macro and landscapes. I only use natural light and prefer that of early mornings and late evenings. The well-being of the motive always come first to me, and all photos on this site is of wild animals in their natural environment.

To be out taking photos is pure life quality to me, often in company with good friends. With my photos I wish to share the beauty of nature with others, and encourage them to experience it by themselves, learn more about it and hopefully also care more for it in their daily lifes.
